For the most part, Abhay and I didn't face many obstacles during the 20 time project besides the fact that many of the articles we researched through the months incorporated terminology that were very complex and technical. The terminology that was used in many of our sources could be categorized as medical school level diction. Although the terminology did sway us a bit from achieving our ambitions, we ultimately stuck to our passion in regard to finding a cure to osteoporosis. At times we faced doubts about our idea and sometimes discussed about changing our topic since we thought our creative approach to solving the onset of osteoporosis was unrealistic, but we just stuck to it and came up with a few interesting solutions. One of those interesting solutions include a pod that applies mechanical stress on bones to mimic the effect of exercising ( ex: Weightlifting). Our other idea includes a probe that is inserted into a patient, making contact with bone. This treatment is supposed to mimic the effect of electrotherapy in which it doesn’t necessarily strengthen bone but instead promotes bone growth.
